Dianne Wulf is an emerging Filipino-Canadian writer and director whose work champions diverse voices and authentic representation in film and television. She was recently selected as part of the coveted inaugural cohort of The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment 2025.   

 

Dianne’s budding career has been marked by significant milestones, including being named one of Reelworld Film Festival’s Emerging 20 (2019) and participating in the Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Program (2019, 2021,2025). Her short film earned her an AMPIA Rosie nomination, and she was one of nine finalists in the 2019 CBC Short Film Face-Off. Her screenplays have received support from the Alberta Media Arts Alliance Society, Women in Film and Television-Alberta and Canada Council for the Arts. She was honoured as one of eight alumni of the prestigious Women in the Director’s Chair (WIDC) program in 2021, a BIPOC TV and Film TIFF Delegate in 2023, and a Racial Equity Screen Office Delegate to Prime Time 2025.   

 

As a UBCP/ACTRA member, Dianne is a passionate advocate for women and diversity in the entertainment industry. She continues to create compelling stories that amplify underrepresented voices.
